On December 5th, we received in Expora Tours, Chaak Tun and Pueblo del Maiz, the Distinctive S, recognition of good sustainable practices in the development of tourism company projects operating in Mexico, under the global criteria of Sustainability.

Some of the goals of this program are to generate the sustainable development of tourism activity and improve conditions in Mexico’s tourist destinations, as well as to consolidate the sustainable development model that generates the development of tourism through conservation and improvement of natural and cultural resources.

The Distinctive S endorses the certifications issued by EarthCheck and Rainforest Alliance, internationally recognized companies that promote the improvement of sustainable practices, aligned to the global sustainability criteria and which are promoted by the World Tourism Organization and The Global Sustainable Tourism Council.

We continue to consolidate as a sustainable company!
