MANGROVE RESTORATION AT PUNTA SUR

This Saturday, June 15th as part of the World Environment Day 2024 year that was focused on restoring the land and stop desertification and strengthen resistance to drought, we organized a restoration in the central mogote of the Colombia Lagoon in the ecological park Punta Sur with the support of the foundation of parks and museums of Cozumel.

In this noble event there was a participation of 20 volunteers from Explora Tours and 7 volunteers from the Foundation of Parks and Museums of Cozumel, who is with great joy and excitement we participated in this restoration with the intention of preserving the beautiful mangrove ecosystem that we have on our island.

Our commitment to the mangroves continues.
