Venture into a journey into the past with the ancient Maya and become part of history with the interactive activities that await you at Pueblo del Maíz.
There are two ways to learn about the history of the Maya, in books or ¡Live it!
Get ready to enter the jungle and travel to the past, it is time to immerse yourself in this tour where your senses will be filled with the splendor of our ancestral Mayan culture. Guided by the Aj Bej (guide) you will know part of the legends, deities, and symbolisms. You will participate in workshops on the elaboration and tasting of foods based on corn and cocoa, and we will know about the different natural fibers and mythological animals that inspired impressive legends. Music and dance cannot miss, hearts will accelerate to the rhythm of the dance in honor of our lunar goddess, Ixchel and at the end, we will be ready to play the ancient Mayan ball game, will you take the challenge?
